In a nutshell: Fluently bilingual, Josée is an Ontario native whose dominant language is English. Before moving to Montréal, she lived in Sudbury, Ottawa and Cape Town, South Africa. She has experience working in communications for the federal government and non-governmental agencies. She’s also published articles and short fiction. She’s been a freelance translator and editor for 15 years.

Where you’ll find her when she’s not at her computer: Walking the dog, hanging out with her family or participating in a creative writing workshop

Education: an honours BA in geography from Carleton University (Ottawa) and an MA in English from Concordia University (Montréal)
